SNEH Foundation – NGO for Special Needs Children

As a summer intern, I worked closely with children with special needs, using piano lessons as a tool for self-expression and creativity. Beyond music-based learning, I contributed to:

  • Educational Support: Assisted in literacy and life-skills sessions designed to enhance independence and confidence.
  • Community Engagement: Helped organize donation drives and awareness campaigns to support the Foundation’s initiatives.
  • Sustainability & Inclusivity: Led community-focused activities that promoted environmental responsibility and inclusivity, fostering greater awareness among volunteers and families alike.

Speaking Seeds Program – Gyanbodhi Foundation

As a volunteer with the Speaking Seeds Program, I conducted daily online sessions for a diverse group of schoolchildren to enhance their spoken English and communication skills. My responsibilities included:

  • Interactive Learning: Designed sessions with games, storytelling, and role-play activities to make learning engaging and confidence-building.
  • Skill Development: Focused on improving pronunciation, fluency, and classroom participation through structured speaking exercises.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintained regular communication with the Foundation team, providing feedback and updates on each student’s growth and challenges.
